Description ::
PatchXP is a small program that modifies your current version of uxtheme.dll so Windows XP can use non-Microsoft themes. This version works for XP original release only (NOT SP1 or SP2)!

If you haven't done so already, try Multi-Patcher first as it supports Windows XP original, SP1 and SP2 as well as Windows Server 2003.

Oh, and if you don't want to mess around with all these manual patches, just get styleXP - it rocks.

That's Multi-Patcher - that's the new one for SP2.

by my mistake i installed the patch on SP2... now i dont know how to uninstall ...cause i cant get any visual style to run at all...

please let me know how to uninstall the patch.. or what files to change...

hey i never got reply from any of these people at this forum...so what i did is Restored computer from a day before... basically backed it up by 24 hours... but otherwise...i had no idea how to uninstall it...

I installed this patch just now but I truly have no idea how to get it to function. I tried to skin my XP computer using the panther theme from studiotwentyeight.com however stylexp and windowblinds trial versions would not function and I am simply not willing to pay 20 and 50 dollars for them, respectively. So, could somebody please explain how this patch is designed to function?
